Sandra L. Jaremczuk (Mihich), age 74, unexpectedly passed away on January 12th, 2022. She was born on April 5th, 1947, in Gary Indiana. She graduated from Lew Wallace high School in 1965 and spent approximately 30 years working at McGill’s in Valparaiso, Indiana until retiring in Arizona in 2012.

She loved exploring fun places with her daughter, shopping for her grandchildren, and great grandchildren. Every year she would travel to Indiana with her dogs to visit her family, friends, and past co-workers. Each November she would drive to California and spend time with her son and daughter in-law around Thanksgiving.

Sandra had many passions and spent most of her lifetime breeding, showing, and judging dogs. In her spare time, she loved to create scrap books and greeting cards for her friends in her community. She loved to cook and would bake goodies for her friends and family all the time. Her favorite things to do during the days were to visit the 99 Cent Store, Dollar Tree and Kohls. She was a very thoughtful and generous woman that always had a smile on her face and spread so much positivity to others around her. She will be missed.

She is survived by her 3 children, Patricia (John) Lewis of Mesa AZ, Tom (Dawn) Jaremczuk of Valparaiso, IN and Tony (Meghan) Jaremczuk of Oceanside, CA, her siblings, John (Nancy) Mihich of Munster, IN, Linda (John) Vajda of Hamlet, IN, Michelle (Donald) Cronch of Whiting, IN, and Mike (Audrey) Mihich of Valparaiso, IN, thirteen grandchildren, and twelve great grandchildren. Sandra is predeceased by her parents, Marietta Vassallo and John Mihich, and her two sisters Michelle and Susan Mihich.

Sandra’s celebration of life is to be determined at this time and will be announced at a later time.
