Robert R Ham Jr. (Bob)
Oct 30, 1936 – July 9, 2021

Bob passed away with his son and daughter-in-law at his side.

Bob was born in Omaha Nebraska. He joined the US Air force when he was 17 and served active duty for 20 years. Bob was a veteran of foreign wars. As an aircraft electrician he served two tours of duty in Vietnam (1964, 1969) working on U2 and F4 aircraft. Bob’s military career included another 18 years with the US Air force civil engineering group for a total of 38 years serving his country.

Bob enjoyed the outdoors, hunting and fishing with family and friends. He loved to camp, travel in his RV, dances at the local American Legion hall and hosting social events for family and friends.

He leaves behind his son Robert and his wife Margaret, Grandson Tyler, Granddaughter Aubrey, 2 sisters Shirley and Roberta, and many nephews and nieces.

He was preceded in death by his father Robert Sr., mother Evelyn, second wife Barbra, and sister Betty.

In lieu of cards or flowers it is asked that donations to the VFW be made in his name.

    So sorry to hear about Bob…I will miss him when I go back to Arizona….he was a great friend

    Bob was special-we always had such a good time picking on each other all in fun. I just can’t imagine Denali Park without him in it.
