Bobby, I am going to miss you so much. My heart is hurting for our loss. You were so good with my kids and grandkids. The only comfort I have is all the memories we had together and that you are with dad. I will think of you often. You were a good brother! I am so grateful that you stepped in and took such great care of our mom!

    Love you,
    Your big sister Debby

    Dad,

I don’t even know where to start. I’m at a loss for words. I’m sad I never got to say good bye, or hold your hand as you crossed over. I’m thankful for those who were with you during your last breath but can’t help but wish it was with me. I keep looking at the text conversation between us the Friday before you passed. I had just got done texting you to enjoy people in your life because you never know when their time will come, little did I know your time was near. Thank you for the all signs you have given me since your passing. It gives me comfort that you are safe and happy with Papa. I love this picture, it’s every bit of you. Your long hair blowing in the wind with your snake skin boots, not to mention you look so happy. I must have been there because we all know I’m your favorite! LOL (Jk sis, I love you). The kids will miss you greatly. Every time I said we were coming to see you Taylor would get a big smile and says “yes!!”. Even through our trials and tribulations I never stopped loving you. I have faith and peace that you are in a better place and that I will see you again one day. It doesn’t make the pain go away as some days are unbearable, but for now I will have to wait until we reunite again. There is so much more I want to say to you. You will always be in my heart, I love you so much.

  16. Your Oldest Daughter says:

    Dad,

I can’t believe it has been 3 weeks today “Sunday Bloody Sunday” that you left me – it was 10 days before my 40th birthday how I will never forget! I still can’t believe you are gone – gone too young – gone too soon, my heart is in pieces! I am heartbroken I never got to say “until we meet again” or give you a big hug and kiss or hold your hand that night not by choice but I know you knew I was there with you and I know you heard me tell you how much I love you even though I had to fight for my rights to see you and thank you Jesus I won! I know we went through a lot when I was young – we had our ups and downs – we had our differences but I never stopped loving you no matter what and I always will. You were the most fun, caring and loving grandpa to my boys, they both miss you tons and miss talking sports and phone games with you. Speaking of sports thanks for cheering me on from the stands when you forced me to play softball and I only lasted a season because you wanted me to be like your favorite daughter that you coached for years but we all know deep down I was a much better dancer than her and I didn’t belong on the field like she did ha! (love ya sis <3) but I did surprisingly catch a fly ball in left field and I think my first and last that you were so proud of and you never got tired of telling that story about me. Thanks for introducing me to other sports like the NFL when I was young specifically the San Diego Chargers (Shout out to my Cali Fam – miss and love you all). I will never forget you tormenting all the grandkids if they came over to memo and papas wearing any other colors than the Chargers to watch the games. This picture of you is everything about who you were – the long mullet – the snake skin boots – guns out suns out which can I mention I will be happy to get rid of those speedos for you that you wore EVERY DAY by the pool LOL and I will not be sad to see them go – what can I say just a badass guy with the biggest heart you were – must be where I get it from! 😉 I will miss your crazy paparazziness EVERY time we spent time with you and all the videos you would text me but now I am grateful for it as I get to go through all of the pictures and videos you made and reminisce so I thank you for that now. Thank you for ALL the signs that you have given me since your passing “break on through to the other side” which you have done now – “with or without you” – OH ALL the songs that you loved, you were always a “piano man” and passed that down to me. It gives my soul peace after all the conversations and texts that I have had with so many people in your life that loved and cared about you other than family, to hear all the stories from those that I have never met has reassured me of the gentle man that you truly were deep down – you loved so hard! Glad you are “free as a bird” now from this life – spread your wings and sour through the mountains – until I see you again, keep visiting me I have so much to tell you still. I hope you are resting peacefully next to the man you loved so much and missed terribly for 15 years – Rest Peacefully Dad this is “The End” but not forever…
    Xo,
    Love Your Oldest Daughter
