It is with a heavy heart that we share with you that our beloved mother, Lorna Gail (Collins) Hazlett, passed away surrounded by loved ones on May 29, 2024, in Gilbert, Arizona.

Lorna was born to Charles and Willie Collins in Fort Worth, Texas on September 30, 1947.

She is preceded in death by her mother, father and the love of her life, Christopher Lee Hazlett.

She could be stubborn at times but was always devoted, loving and selfless when it came to her 4 children, Stasia (John) Wallace, Lori Speers, Carrie (Troy) Hebert and Eric (Crystal) Hazlett.

Her grandchildren, Brad Wilson, Hunter Wilson, Christopher (Shea) Tracy, CJ (Wendi) Farquhar, Collin Farquhar, Konnor Hazlett, Mason Hazlett and great-grandchildren, Darien, Keagen, and Finley were truly the lights of her life.

She loved traveling and exploring new places, social groups, shopping, painting, bowling, her dogs, and spending time with friends and family. She was generous and thoughtful to all of those around her.

Our family would feel honored if you kept us in your thoughts during this difficult time. We will miss you and forever hold you in our hearts, Mom.

She will rest alongside of her husband at Trail’s End Cemetery in Tahoe City, CA on a future date.

My condolences to all family members. It is truly difficult to lose someone you dearly love. I’m sure there are plenty of memories that family will hold close. May these memories warm your hearts and bring smiles to your face as you recall how she made you laugh. Lake Tahoe is a beautiful setting for Lorna and Christopher. I pray for the family in their time of need to stay strong and may the Lord welcome Lorna into his arms in heaven.

  3. Marla Hazlett says:

So very sorry to hear about Lorna’s passing. I didn’t know her well but she was always very kind to me. Sweet lady ❤️
