John Wesley Rhodes passed away peacefully in his sleep on September 26, 2018 at Springdale Village in Mesa, AZ.  His Memorial will be held on October 17, 2018 at 2:00 pm At Broadway Christian Church, 7335 E. Broadway Rd, Mesa, AZ.

John was born in West Monroe, LA on October 23, 1932 to Edgar and Edna Rhodes Alexander.  He was a graduate of Lewis and Clark High School in Spokane, WA. He worked at Kaiser Aluminum and Chemical Corporation for 30 years and then retired.  then he worked for many years as a real estate salesman.  He loved to play golf, but his favorite hobby was sailing.  He was also in the Naval Reserves for 8 years.

John is survived by his loving wife, Elaine, his sister JoAnn, 3 daughters and 3 sons, 7 grandchildren, and many great-grandchildren.
