Joan Ellen Bookhamer, 78, of Apache Junction, AZ, passed away on 8 October, 2021.

Funeral service will be held at Superstition Cremation and Funeral Services, 398 East Old West Highway, AZ 85119 on 14 October, 2021. Viewing at 2:30 and Services at 3:00pm.

Joan was born in Salyer, California, to Merle and Robley Broderick on May 26, 1943. She resided in Eureka, California from 1955 to 1996 and Apache Junction, Arizona from 1999 to her passing. She went to high school at Eureka High School, class of 1960. She enjoyed painting landscapes and light houses and spending time with family and friends.

She is survived by her husband Larry Bookhamer; daughter and her spouse Debbie and Phillip Sharp; son and his spouse Larry Jr. and Carola Bookhamer; grandchildren and their spouses, Dustin Sharp, Phillip and Cassie Sharp, Mark and Stephanie Bookhamer, Eric and Loryn Bookhamer; and great-grandchildren Jackson, Peyton, Aubrey, Alexia, Ripkin, Hudson, and Alice Bookhamer.

She is preceded in death by her parents Merle and Robley Broderick, brother’s Tom and David Broderick, and sister Barbara Thurston.
