Jerry passed away on July 15th, 2026.
Born on September 16th, 1943.
He was a 1961 graduate of Southwestern Central School and a 1965 graduate of Syracuse University (College of Forestry) and ROTC. Upon graduation he entered the Army and served in Vietnam as a helicopter pilot and earning the rank of Captain.
Living in Jamestown he drove the Bookmobile for many years before moving to Mesa, Arizona in 1987, where he worked as an inventory specialist manager retiring in 2013.
Survived by his loving and caring wife Helen of 42 years. The were inseparable and always did everything together. Also survived by Step son Allen Kase (Amy) of Jamestown, NY, step grandchildren Aaron and Ashton Kase of Jamestown, and a nephew Rodney Giese (Lisa) and a niece Rene Hackney of Richmond, VA.
He was preceded in death by his step daughter Kimberly Kase.
Jerry loved all sports.
Especially golf, baseball and most of all any Syracuse college sports.
There will be no services at this time.
