James (Jim) Thomas Veneskey of Gold Canyon, AZ passed away June 28, 2019 at
the age of 68 after a brief battle with bladder cancer.

Jim was born in Martins Ferry, OH April 25, 1951 to Raymond and Sophie
Veneskey.  He grew up in Bridgeport, OH and graduated St. John’s Central
(1969), Ashland College (BS) and WVU (MS).

Jim’s career as a Safety Manager took him and his family to Colorado,
Wyoming, Nevada, Georgia, Ohio, Maryland and Arizona, where he retired.

Jim enjoyed spending time with his family, traveling, home projects, and
watching History Channel.

Jim was preceded in death by his parents, brothers Michael, and Edmund. Jim
is survived by his loving wife of 44 years, Barbara (Bristor), daughters
Heather Volack (Andrew) grandchildren Regan, Braden, Avery, Zackery of
Caldwell, ID; Holly Garcia (Rudy) of Sparks, NV grandchildren Kaylee, Wyatt;
and Michelle Price (Gregory) of Silver Spring, MD.  Sisters Susan Patsche
(Bill), Dolores White, and Veronica Parfitt (Dan), Great grandchildren
Evalena and James, Aunt Helen Shemon, and numerous nieces and nephews.

A celebration of his life will be held at a future date.
