JAMES (JIM) NOLAN

Jim died on September 14, 2023 in Apache Junction AZ with his family at his side after a short but tough battle with cancer.

Jim was born in Milwaukee Wi on July 6, 1947 to Clarence and Mary Jane (Mason) Nolan who preceded him in death. It was there that he married the love of his life Nancy (Podushak) and started their family.

After they left Milwaukee, they lived in Brighton Colorado for 45 years where Jim worked as an aircraft and powerplant mechanic for most of his working years. He moved to Apache Junction to live the retired life 7 years ago.

Jim served in the Air Force during the Vietnam era. Jim loved being outside working in his yard and fixing everything. He also loved riding his Harley. This last March he was able to fly with the Honor Flight Arizona to Washington DC. He had the time of his life and said he could now die a happy man.

He is survived by his wife, son Jeff Nolan, daughter Trina (Scott) Dawson, his granddaughter Peyton Nolan, his brothers Robert (Allison), Kevin and Richard Nolan, sister Jean Kotajarvi and several nieces and nephews.

As Jim requested, they will be no services. Donations in his name can be made to Honor Flight Arizona, Gary Sinise Foundation, Patriot Guard Riders of Arizona, Friends of the Kids (FOTK) or any charity of your choice.
