Edwin Eugene Lawson, 80, of Apache Junction, Arizona passed away Thursday May 9, 2019 in Gilbert, Arizona. Mr. Lawson, a cabinet maker by trade, was born in Gallipolis, Ohio. He also served in the United States Navy from 1956-1962. His survivors include his wife, Willodene, his daughters Mary, Raetta, and Lynette, his son-in-law’s, Rick, David, and Jim and his sisters Clara Buckley and Katie Stewart. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Natasha, Jimmy, Travis, Shelby, Shirley, Jacob, Kristina, Rikki, and Ben as well as his great-grandchildren, Madilynn, Eryn, Bailey, Brennan, Logan, Dustin, Evan, Corbin, Xemina, Damien, Blake, and Parker.

He is preceded by Harold and Irene Southhall, his loving in-laws, and his parents Herman and Mary Francis Lawson, and his brother, Robert Lawson and great grandson Manuel Garcia. He is also preceded by his granddaughter Amanda Marie Newman and son-in-law Kenneth Zinner.

A memorial service will be held at Superstition Cremation
and Funeral Services, located at 398 E. Old West Highway in Apache Junction,
Arizona on May 16, 2019 at 10:00am.
