So sorry to hear about your loss. I grew up with the Sauer family on 7th Ave and 4th Street in Aberdeen SD. Our neighborhood was like a “Leave it to Beaver” type neighborhood. My parents, brothers and sisters, and I were all close to Donnie. He always had a smile on his face just like Mike and Belva. Once the neighborhood grew up and everyone left we still seen each other off and on at family functions throughout his lifetime and a big smile would form on our face as if we we were back in the neighborhood once again. “ Well, well, well it’s Donnie Sauer so nice to see you again.”
    He will be missed.

  2. Carole Manzie says:

My deepest condolences and love to you Rita and all your families. May God be with and give you His Strength.

  3. Debbie Bower and Thomas Blackford says:

Thomas and I had a great time meeting and getting to know Don. We can see how special and loved he is within his family and others in his life. We lit a candle and said a prayer for him knowing his spirit will always live on. Sending our love to you, Rita and your family in your time of grief.
