In Memory of Bruce Ruben Tebon

Bruce Ruben Tebon, of Sturgeon Bay Wisconsin, born on September 4, 1946, in Escanaba, Michigan, unexpectedly passed away on February 19, 2024, leaving a legacy of love and cherished memories. Bruce spent his early years in Escanaba, MI before moving to Sturgeon Bay, WI, where he made a lasting impact on the community.
Bruce graduated in 1966 from Sturgeon Bay High School, His commitment to education continued as he earned an associate’s degree from NWTC in supervisory management. Bruce dedicated 20 years of his professional life to Peterson Builders, contributing his skills to the field.
Bruce’s journey also included a period as a professional insurance salesman, enjoying helping those he met. He retired at the age of 58, having left a mark in both his professional and personal life.
Passionate about life, Bruce enjoyed golf, fishing, scuba diving and spending quality time with family and friends. His love for adventure and travel took him to the Hawaiian Islands and several memorable cruises with family to other tropical islands.
Bruce, a Vietnam War veteran, served in the transportation unit of the Army from Dec. 1966 to Dec. 1968. His commitment to duty reflected his character and sense of responsibility.

He is survived by his loving wife, Ruthann Tebon, his children Christine (Tim) Brogli and Denise (John) Kaldor. His sisters Sally (Tom) Teich and Sherry Hansen. His grandchildren Alexander Wilmanns, Katherine Brogli, Amanda (Mark) Kluth, and Cory Berken. Step Mother Susie Tebon and step sisters Brenda(Steve) Abrahamson, Rene (Doug) Forsyth and Wendy (Kurt) Foth. He is also survived by step-children Carol (Steve) Petersen, Sandy (Jeff) Bryant, Daniel (Sara) Laurent, Leah (Joe) Salazar, and Debbie (Brian) Bain, along with great-grandchildren Emma and Carter and step-grandchildren Maddie, Gracie, Gavin, Grady, Mya, Ally, Sam, Avery, Miranda, Shad, Peggy, Tori, Daniel, Jacob and 5 step-great- grandchildren. Bruce was proceeded by his parents Albert Tebon and Priscilla Vertz and his brother Terry Tebon.
A memorial gathering will be held in Apache Junction, AZ at Santa Fe Resort, in the clubhouse on Wednesday Feb. 28th at 2:00 pm.
A memorial service to celebrate Bruce Ruben Tebon’s life will be held in Sturgeon Bay, Wisconsin, with details to be determined. His memory will forever live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.

    So sorry to hear of the passing of Bruce. My condolences to the entire Tebon family. I had fond memories of Bruce whenever our family was visiting Al and Pat on 5 th avenue. Special thanks for his service to our Country during the Vietnam war. Ron Drabowicz
