Thomas Wayne Hasner, born April 24, 1935, in Waseca, Minnesota, passed away peacefully on October 3, 2025, in Apache Junction, Arizona. He was the son of Frank and Elma (Caldwell) Hasner.
Thomas was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Eva Watzek Hasner; his brother, Ezra Hasner; and sisters Ruth Ripka, Charlotte Oser, Hazel Wright, Bessie Byrd, Frankie Copp, Jane Hasner, and Kay Poppler.
He is survived by his daughter, Kristie Hasner Purnell (Russell); his three grandchildren, Brandi Jo Tomlin (Michael), Russell Purnell (Brianna), and Heather Purnell; seven great-grandchildren—Troy Cremer, Kasie Purnell, Jade Moore, Sean Purnell, Amber Roth, Ethan Purnell, and Rylee Roth; and eight great-great grandchildren. He is also survived by his brother, OJ Hasner.
A proud veteran, Thomas served 10 years in the U.S. Air Force as a jet engine mechanic and dedicated 23 years to the Edmonds Police Department in Washington State. He was actively involved in his community, holding memberships in the American Legion, VFW, the Moose, and the Eagles.
He will be dearly missed by all who knew him.

    I’m so very sorry for your loss. Tom is now in heaven with his wife Eve & almost all of hims family. That doesn’t make it easier on us left here on earth. I’ll keep your family in my thoughts and prayers.
