Joe Bob Evans II, a devoted family man and dedicated professional, passed away on October 21, 2025, at the age of 68. He was a resident of Apache Junction, Arizona, at the time of his death.

Born on April 7, 1957, at Fort Ord, California, to Joe Evans I and Barbara Dios. He was preceded in death by his dad Joe Evans I and brother, Victor Dios. He spent 31 fulfilling years with The Home Depot, where his commitment and friendly nature earned him the respect and love of many friends and colleagues.

Beyond his work, Joe was known for his passion for his Harley Davidson motorcycle, a true source of joy and freedom in his life. He was an avid golfer and spent many happy days out on the green. Spending time with family brought him immense happiness and joy. He was known for his warm spirit and friendly nature.

Joe is survived by his beloved wife, Melody Evans, his parents Richard Bammel and Barbara Dios, his dad John Dios, his children, Jessie Villeso (Vince), Kerry Hemphill (Chris), and CJ Evans. He also leaves behind his cherished grandchildren, Shaylien Villeso, Amanda Baird (Cameron), Keona Villeso, Zoey Hemphill and Chloe Hemphill, one great-grandson Tempest, as well as his sister, Dawn Chenowith (Scott).

The family will be holding a Celebration of Life to honor Joe’s life on Monday November 17th at 11:00 am at the Rancho Mirage Clubhouse located at 2400 E Baseline Ave, Apache Junction, AZ 85119.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the Arizona Heart Association https://www.heart.org/en/affiliates/arizona.

Joe will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
