Mrs. Coranan Bethard, 79, of Apache Junction passed away Saturday evening May 10, 2025.  She was born February 17, 1946 in Curryville, Mo to the late Roscoe and Charlotte Hobbs.

She is survived by her husband David Bethard, and 3 children, Phillip Bethard of New Athens IL, Kimberly (Adam) Nickles of San Antonio Tx, and Crystal (Sonny) Chavez of Phoenix Az.

She had 10 Beloved grandchildren Mckayla and Garret Bethard. Abby, Selah, and Trey Chavez. Hailey and Gypsy Clark. Howard, JR, and Heaven Stephan.

Cora was preceded in death by her parents and sisters, Willa Gene, Connie, and Judy, as well as her son James Clark.

After high school, she moved to Springfield IL, and she worked for the State of IL where she retired. After marrying David she lived in Girard Il, and raised her children. She served as an active member of the Nilwood Baptist Church in Nilwood Il. While living in Apache Junction she attended the First Baptist Church of Apache Junction.

Cora will always be remembered for having an ear to listen, her gift of laughter, and her love for Jesus. Her presence will forever be missed on this side of heaven.

 

 

Arrangements were cared for by Superstition Funeral Services located at 398 East Old West Highway in Apache Junction, Arizona 85119.
