In Loving Memory of Geraldine Pollak

September 16, 1946 – November 24, 2024

78 years young

Geraldine (Gerry) was born in Passaic New Jersey. She graduated High School from Wallington High School, New Jersey in 1964 and graduated from Patterson State College in 1968.

Upon graduating college in 1968 Gerry married her High School sweetheart Michael.  Following the wedding they then moved to Arizona in the very busy year of 1968.

Gerry settled down in Arizona for the rest of her life while summering in San Diego.  Gerry lived in Scottsdale, Tempe, Mesa and Gold Canyon throughout her life.  While spending most of her summers in San Diego.  She used to love traveling the world, then embraced a more settled life, finding joy and fulfillment in spending quality time with her family, friends and most recently with her granddaughter Chloe.

She was a 4th Grade teacher for 3 years at Edison Elementary School in Mesa AZ, but her main profession was a lifelong homemaker.  Gerry was an incredible homemaker, providing for her husband Mike, daughter Lori, son Cliff, daughter in law Denise and more recently and most happily for her granddaughter Chloe.  She always made sure her family had everything they needed. She did it all with such grace and dedication, without ever asking for recognition or credit.  She just did it and did it with smile.  Everyone she met said that she was one of the kindest, sweetest persons they knew.

Gerry will be missed as the most special Wife, Mother and Grandmother one could ever have!

Gerry is survived by her husband Michael Joseph Pollak, her children, Loriann Jane Pollak, Clifford Scott Pollak, granddaughter Chloe Renee Pollak, daughter in law Denise Renee Pollak and Sister Debra Lordi.

Geraldine will be cremated, and her immediate family will have a small private service by attending a local church together by saying their kind words and lighting a candle in her memory.

Although it would be appreciated, please do not send flowers. If you would like to honor her, the family kindly requests that you consider making a donation to the American Heart Association in her memory.

Arrangements were cared for by Superstition Cremation & Funeral Services located at 398 East Old West Highway Apache Junction, Arizona 85119. Please call (480) 982-2727 with any questions.
