Gary Dell Jenkins, 87, Twin Falls, died December 28, 2025 at his Arizona winter home.  He was born August 19, 1938 in Twin Falls to Dell & Ferne Cooke Jenkins. In 1957, he graduated Twin Falls H.S. where he played football & baseball.

Before opening his own auto body shop in the 1970’s he worked for Idaho Frozen Foods and John Chris Motor. He operated Jenkins Auto Body until his retirement in 2001.

In 1966, he married Annette Thornton, they enjoyed the outdoors together on their acreage + camping. Fishing, hunting and golf were his priorities and was proud of the 8 holes in one,  on four different golf courses.

After his retirement, they began spending winter in Queen Valley, AZ, 13 years ago.

Gary is survived by his wife of 59 years, Annette, He was preceded in death by his parents and two sisters.  Celebration of his life will be held at a later date. Memorials are suggested for the College of Southern Idaho Foundation.
