Florine Lydia Loebs Moser, age 81, was born on a farm in
McPherson County, SD on June 11, 1938 to Alvin and Hulda Loebs. She died in Apache Junction, Arizona on
August 1, 2019. She was married for 66 years to Floyd Moser, who she met and
married in Eureka, South Dakota.
During the first 27 years of marriage, Floyd and Florine lived
throughout South Dakota, North Dakota and Wyoming while Floyd worked road
construction. In 1980, their moving days ended when they settled in Gillette,
Wyoming. In Gillette, Florine worked for Wyoming National Bank and Buttrey Food
and Drug as a bookkeeper. Florine retired in 1994 and she and Floyd split their
time between Arizona and South Dakota.
Florine was a gifted artist and taught art lessons in
Arizona during her retirement. Her
family and friends will remember her through the beautiful chalk, pencil, and
oil paintings she painted for loved ones. She loved fishing, dancing, music,
and playing cards.
She is survived by her husband, Floyd; one sister, Linda
Haupt; her daughters, Debbie Riis (Steve) and Stephanie Austad (Wayne);
granddaughters Valerie Hurm (Travis) and Sydney Austad; and grandsons Eric
Grenz (Amber) and Travis Austad. She had five beautiful great-grandchildren:
Braik, Charlie, and Deni Hurm and Ian and Anna Grenz.
She was preceded in death by three of her four sisters and
her daughter, Theresa Grenz.
Services will be held at a future date in Arizona.
