Obituary

Elaine Marie Hill (Pinkie) because of her love for the color was born to Albert Hill and Jacqueline Cummings on May 25, 1945, in Chicago, Illinois.

Elaine attended Forestville Elementary School and then attended DuSable High School where she graduated in June, of 1963. Elaine accepted the Lord in her early years. She attended Ebenezer Baptist Church. She was known for her ever-present smile and kind words.

Elaine had two sons, Anthony James Williams and Keith Lamont Hill. Elaine always enjoyed life and helping people however she could.  When her mom got sick, she became a certified caregiver to take care of her. She met Ron Florence in her later years.  She moved to Iowa in 2008 moved in with her son and daughter in law.  Upon her mother’s passing she relocated to Las Vegas.  In January of 2017 she moved to Arizona. She was the hospitality coordinator for From the Ashes We Rise and for Mission Impossible Women of Faith.

Waiting to greet her at Heaven’s Pearlie gates will be her daughter Valerie, Her husband Ron, Mom Jacqueline, Dad Albert and Brother Albert Hill; She leaves behind her Sisters; Constance Elaine Ezell, Toni Marie Grimm and her husband Tim Grimm, her two sons; Anthony J. Williams and Keith L. Hill, Grandson Anthony James William Jr., Daughter Terrie Cameron -Robinson and Nieces, Nephews, Grands and Great Grands…and a whole lot of people that Loved her.

“Rest in Peace my Sweet Angel take your rest.”

 

A Memorial Service will be held at 2PM, Saturday, August 1, 2025 located at Broadway Missionary Baptist Church located at 2759 E Tamarisk Ave, Phoenix, AZ 85040.
