John James Lupi, age 79, of Apache Junction, AZ, passed away on October 4, 2025. He was born on January 26, 1946, in Easton, PA, and was a proud graduate of Easton High School, Class of 1964. John served in the U.S. Navy from 1964 to 1968. He retired from Bethlehem Steel Corporation after a dedicated career.
John was married to his loving wife, Louise (Weiner) Lupi, for 54 years. He is survived by his daughter, Gina Gruwell of Mesa, AZ; his son, Kevin Lupi of Bath, PA; and his grandson, Rian Herczeg. Rian’s fiancée, Lindsay Gladhart of Seattle, WA, also survives him, along with his brother, Victor Lupi of Phillipsburg, NJ, and several nieces, nephews, and their spouses.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Vittorio (Victor) and Disolina (Lena) Lupi and brothers: Sebastian, Anthony, and Paul.
John’s kind spirit and dedication will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
