Betty L. Brothers, from Apache Junction, born in Fontenelle, IA, left to be with the Lord, June 9, 2024 surrounded by loved ones!

Betty was a bookkeeper for many years, although her fondest memories were working beside her Mom in a little shop with a soda fountain. She also talked of memories working with her Dad, selling Wear Ever Cookware. She cooked while he sold!!

Her many loves in life were her long-time commitment to sorority – “Beta Sigma Phi”. She first pledged to Sorority in Nov of 1960 and was active thru 2004 when she moved to AZ from Abilene, TX.

She was honored and blessed to be the wife of an officer in the USAF, and everything that entailed!

She loved spending time with all her grand and great grandkids!!

Mom spent many years caring for loved ones and now they are all reunited and dancing with Jesus.

In Loving Memory: Betty, “Pete” and “Gma Boopers” Rest in peace, We ALL Love you!

    Dear DJ and Family,
I only knew your Mom through our letter and card writing. She did send me her picture so I would know who she was and I saw in her eyes a gentle soul and in her smile, a happy and content soul. Always positive, cheerful and thankful was your Mom. Each day to her was a gift and a blessing and she loved her family. I am so blessed to be her Florida penpal and I hope to continue that friendship with you. With my sympathy, prayers and love – Barbara Selwocki
