Jean Marie Schlickenmayer, 68, of Apache Junction, AZ, peacefully passed away on November 5, 2021 with her sister by her side.

Jean was born on October 18, 1953 to Alvin and Mildred (Fiaman) Werhi in Dickenson, ND. After graduating from Bismarck High School, Bismarck, ND in 1971, she married Dennis Schlickenmayer and moved to Minnesota where she pursued a Certified Medical Assistant degree. They raised their 3 sons in Isanti, MN. She worked as a CMA for a number of years before going to work for the State of MN as a Human Resource Technician. Jean excelled in her field and met many people making lifelong friends. She retired in 2003 after 22 years. After retiring, Jean had time to pursue her love of being a snow bird and for the last 7 years was a fulltime resident in Apache Junction, AZ. Some of Jean’s favorite hobbies and interest included Nascar and RVing to many race tracks around the country. She enjoyed boating and fishing, especially a good walleye dinner. She was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles#3850 where she enjoyed playing bingo, pool and the comradery of her many friends who will dearly miss her.

Jean was preceded in death by her parents and son, Zachary. She is survived by her sons Kelly (Chele) Cambridge, MN and Joshua (Taryn) North Branch, MN, grandchildren Bailey, Casey and Taylore, her sister Sharon Kimball(Bill) in Apache Junction, AZ, and her brother Curt Wehri(Lynn) in Bismarck, ND and many other loving family members and dear friends.

Services will be held at later date.
