Although older than fire, she likes to think of herself as being twice as hot!
Patti grew up in Northern NJ and was preceded in death by her older brother Courtney.
As an epileptic, she was denied her dream to follow in her Mother’s footsteps of being a teacher. Instead she spent her professional life as an executive secretary.
During her college years she spent a Spring Break in Tucson visiting a friend who was as attending the University of Arizona. It was love at first sight, Arizona, not the friend. Patti returned East with the intent of immediately relocating to Arizona but then met Michael Girardi. Together they had two children, Vanessa who lives in Virginia and Victor who lives in Arizona.
February 1981, Patti picked up where she had left off in her life and relocated to Mesa, Arizona, with two kids and a dog. She earned her real estate license and was finally enjoying the life she had imagined all those many years ago.
Arizona has been very kind to Patti, she was always able to wrap herself in the warmth of the very many friends she made wherever she called home, bestowing upon each their own “nickname” born of the unique impression each friend had made upon her heart.
Now that our Mom has been relieved of the mortal chains we all still bear, it is our hope and prayer that she has found the peace, love, and comfort that eluded her these past 81 years.
On her departure date a north south east scan of a pitch-black night sly via the phone app skyview…until pointed west towards Mother Patti’s door: This saved screenshot is the result!
I take solace in the belief that you’ve found love as it was intended, peace and comfort like you’ve never before know. Now that the veil of the physical world has been lifted, you now see each of us for who we are at our core and in that an even greater love is now being shared between us. I love you Mom! ~Za
