Browning, Katherine Irene Wister Almeido, age 85, passed away at her home in Gold Canyon, AZ on December 21, 2020. Kathy was an Arizona native, born on December 18, 1935 in one of the few original adobe homes in Phoenix, AZ. She graduated from West Phoenix High School in 1953. After retiring from an extensive banking career, she explored the world through travel and following her passion, became a certified Master Gardner with the U of Arizona Cooperative Extension program for Pinal County. She is survived by her immediate family, daughter Janné (Almeido) and son-in-law Larry Croll (Tempe, AZ) and grandchildren Ty (New York City, NY) and Brianne (Mesa, AZ). A family memorial service respecting her wishes will be planned at a later date. Donations to a local charity of your choice would be appreciated in lieu of flowers.
