Paul Kranig, age 88, of Gold Canyon, Arizona passed away on Tuesday, July 22, 2020 at Copper Village Memory Care Home in Mesa, Arizona. He was born on February 12, 1932 in Eden, Wisconsin, son of John and Ida (Muench) Kranig. He attended school in Eden, Wisconsin.
On February 14, 1953, he married Joyce Peters. Survivors include 3 children, Glen and Dean Kranig and Linda (Todd) Krokstrom, 8 grandchildren, and 11 great great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Joyce and daughter Donna, brother William (Irene) Kranig, 4 sisters Loretta (Scivio) Onesti, Rosella (Lester) Snyder, Betty (Bill) Bushley and Bernice (Steve) Witkowski, also nieces and nephews.
In 2004, Paul moved to Gold Canyon, Arizona Mountain Brook Village. He married Elizabeth (Liz) Tautges on August 29, 2014.He enjoyed dancing and snowmobiling.
Paul was a member of St. George Catholic Church in Apache Junction where he was an usher. He was a Knight of Columbus Council #7243 member. He was a supervisor at Giddings & Lewis Electronics in Fond De Lac, Wisconsin. He served on the board of directors in Mountain Brook Village and on the board of the Polka Club of Arizona. Also, Paul was the owner of Kranig Excavating in Eden, Wisconsin.
