Charles Trevor Edwards Obituary

Charles Trevor “Chuck” Edwards, 80, of Gold Canyon, AZ passed away on Sunday, November 12, 2017 in Gold Canyon. Mr. Edwards was born in San Lorenzo, CA to Robert Edwards and Jesse Cox.

After high school Chuck joined the Marine Corps where he was a communications officer for 4 years. He then enjoyed a great career in the Court Reporting field, followed by working for the state prison in Winslow, AZ.

He was an avid outdoors-man and hiked nearly every mountain range and canyon in Arizona. In his retirement, he spent his days researching and documenting ancient Native American dwellings and artifacts with his friend, Dr. Ron Krug, in Northern Arizona.

Chuck will be dearly missed by his family, his friends, and by whoever had the blessing of knowing him.

His survivors include his wife, Edythe Jean Edwards; daughter, Denise Veneklasen; son, Derek Edwards; son-in-law, Larry Veneklasen; brother, Roger Edwards; grandchildren, Anthony Dykstra and Murphy Edwards; and great-grandchildren, Jacob, Hailey, Lennox, and Karter Dykstra.
