Clara Jean (Jeanne) Spath Obituary
Clara Jean (Jeanne) Spath, 82, of Apache Junction, AZ passed away on May 5, 2017. She was born on February 15, 1935 in Kenton, OH to Harry and Pearl (Young) Wren.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Gerald Spath; her parents; one daughter Phyllis Calhoun; brothers, James Wren, Clayton Wren, Norman Wren, and Kenneth Wren; sisters, Beulah Danner, Velma Copas, and Sharon Buchanan.
She is survived by sons, Robert (Tisha) Preston of AZ and Kenneth (Cheryl) Keeran of OH; daughters, Elenor (Ed) Kerns of OH, Shirley (Tommy) Bennett of OH, and Lynna (Mel) Johnson of AZ; brother, Larry Wren of MI; sisters, Eileen Price of OH, Phyllis York of AZ, and Kaye LaPlant of CA. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Jeanne was a loving mother and devoted wife to Gerald Spath. They celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on May 16, 2016.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, May 15, 2017 at 11:00am (viewing at 10:00am) at Superstition Cremation & Funeral Services, 398 E Old West Hwy, Apache Junction, AZ 85119. Committal services will follow at the National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona, 23029 N Cave Creek Rd, Phoenix, AZ 85024. In lieu of flowers, please consider donations to the American Cancer Society.
