Norman MacLean Obituary
Mr. Norman “Norm” MacLean, age 74, died of natural causes at his home in Apache Junction, AZ on Friday, April 22, 2016. Born on November 10, 1941 in Oak Park, IL, he lived and worked in the Chicago/Joliet area as an electrician until the family moved to Indiana, then on to Oregon where he and his first wife Susan served in the Daystar Ministry from 1976-1982. He and his second wife Pat, who passed away in 2013, retired to AZ in the mid 90’s to be closer to his mother in her final years and moved to Apache Junction in 2004. Norm loved the Lord and had a fun sense of humor and a servant’s heart. He loved motor cycles and snow mobiles, collecting coins and model trains, stock car races, rodeos, festivals and country western dancing. He loved his pets Mushi, Coco, Mr. Lucky, and many others over the years. More recently, Norm was active at the Reformation Bible Church. Survivors include his sister Nancy (Ken) Resech; children Karen, Kevin, and Heather (Andy Bailey) MacLean, step daughter Kathy (Paul) Drew; grandchildren Amanda MacLean-Kelly, Jacob MacLean, Willow MacLean-Bailey, Cory Parker (MacLean), Max Drew, and Kristeva Taylor (Drew family); great grandchildren Finley MacLean-Kelly and Jerimiah Taylor; niece Laura Stultz and nephew David Resech; and ex-wife Susan Aviotti. A memorial service will be held in his honor at 3:00pm on Friday, May 27, 2016 at Superstition Cremation & Funeral Services, 398 E Old West Hwy, Apache Junction, AZ 85119.
